Naija News reports that Pete Edochie’s family and management quickly debunked the false report, stressing that the actor is alive. Leo Edochie, the actor’s first son, took to Instagram in a viral video to label the death report as “a lie from the pit of hell.”
In a follow-up post on Facebook on Thursday evening, Leo revealed that he had reached out to the Department of State Services (DSS) to ensure action is taken against the TikToker responsible for spreading the false news.
He urged the public to assist in the investigation, stating that anyone with useful information should contact the family immediately. According to Leo, the DSS is actively pursuing the matter, and the family is committed to holding the perpetrator accountable for spreading misinformation about a prominent public figure.
